Restoration & Renovation
The Dole Mansion and Country Club buildings are always seeking some volunteer TLC. If you're a painter, carpenter craftsman, electrician, plumber--you name it, this is the project for you! Contact us today to find out what's on our punchlist!
Office Help
Would you be willing to spend a few hours a week to help with general office work? We need help with membership mailings, errands, keeping the facility's calendar, general clean-up, answering phones, making important membership and donor phonecalls and more!
Concierge
Do you like helping people? We're seeking volunteers to help as a concierge during our events during evenings. Events such as fundraising banquets, art openings, dance nights, group tours and more - these events require someone to be on-campus, handling the needs of guests to the Lakeside Legacy's Creative Arts Center. If you're outgoing, personable, enjoy answering questions and helping people solve their problems, you should consider volunteering to be a Concierge!
Event "Manpower"
At the Lakeside Legacy Arts Park, we have four major "pillar" events we operate annually. From festivals to indoor gala events, the need is great for volunteer help. Some of the work is physical in nature, such as setting up of tables, chairs, moving sets, erecting lighting equipment and more.
DurinGardening and Landscape
We have master gardeners already working on the grounds, to clean and beautify the grounds for all to enjoy. If you would like to help with planning and gardening, we invite you get involved!
The intent of this location is to create a beautiful "arts park" for the community to visit and enjoy. Perhaps your creativity can come to life here at the Lakeside Legacy, sharing a bit of your talent for all to see! Garden clubs invited!
Historical Research
Did you know there is only one known photo of Charles Dole at this time? If you're a history buff, you may have found a fantastic avenue to put your snooping skills to work! We need help gathering and organizing extensive information regarding Charles Dole and his family, as well as the history of the "old" Country Club complex!
Fundraising Events
If you or your organization would like to help by putting on a fundraising event at the Legacy facility, let's get together. Additionally, from office help on our membership to major gift solicitation, we will help get you up to speed on our mission, vision and values, and together, explore the community and beyond for support!

Grants
Are you interested in helping to help us seek out grants? Legacy qualifies for grants in several arenas - from historic preservation and open space preservation to fostering the arts.
Whether you are steeped in experience, or simply looking to lend a helping hand at research or putting together presentations, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant difference!
